Established in 1866 this original country pub is a true icon in Arrowtown and Central Otago.

Located on the famous Buckingham St, in the heart of this Central Otago gold rush town , We are surrounded by Historic buildings and quaint shops with the  Arrow River  right on ourdoor step.

Our  Accommodation rooms are available in Queen/ twin or triple configuration with some offering views across the Arrow River, with 9 rooms avaliable.

Amenities include:
Ensuite bathrooms, TV ,tea/coffee-making facilities., Electric blankets, FREE WI FI , bar fridge and heating.
Most rooms have had been updated in August 2011.

The Restaurant and Bar are open 7 days a week, serving Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We use seasonal and local ingredients where possible.

With huge open fires in the winter and a sun dreached balcony in the summer, The New Orleans is the Perfect year round spot to enjoy a meal,a local beer or  fine Otago wine .

The New Orleans  is a family owned and operated Hotel.
